Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and isolate your business data. This Privacy Policy describes how TillVOX collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and static web tools.
1. Information We Collect
TillVOX is designed with a local-first architecture. This means your business metrics are stored primarily on your device rather than our servers.
- Authentication Data: If you choose to log in using Google Authentication, we receive your email address, display name, and profile icon URL to identify your account session.
- Store and Transaction Data: Your cash register details (including item catalogs, category setups, sales histories, and expenses) are written directly to a secure SQLite database on your physical device. If cloud synchronization is toggled on, these transaction logs are backed up in batches to secure Firestore servers.
- Product Media Assets: Product images that you take or upload are saved entirely inside your local device file system. We do not upload catalog photos to external cloud storage.
- Advertising Identifiers: We utilize Google AdMob services to serve banners and interstitials. Google collects device IDs to display relevant advertisements.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to run and improve our register application:
- To back up your inventory database and let you restore data across different devices
- To enable secure account logins and protect cloud data directories
- To display contextual advertisements during free tier usage
- To calculate local inventory counts and thermal receipt heights
3. Database Purges and Account Isolation
We enforce total data separation between business accounts. When you sign out or switch to a different login profile, TillVOX executes a complete database purge command (DELETE all tables followed by a SQLite VACUUM). This ensures that no transactional traces remain on the physical device for subsequent users.
4. Data Sharing and Sales
We do not sell, rent, or trade your cash register logs with any third parties. Your inventory numbers and profit margins are your exclusive property.
5. Information Security
Because we store database tables locally, your information security depends on your device protection settings. Cloud synchronization directories utilize secure, industry-standard Firebase security protocols to safeguard transmission.
6. Data Deletion Requests
You can delete your cloud-synchronized logs at any time. Simply use the sign out actions or request a complete Firestore backup wipe by contacting the developer.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates. We will notify you of changes by updating the date at the top of this document.
8. Contact Information
If you have questions about this privacy statement, please contact the developer via our support channels.
